The phenomenal pearls of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Delta Psi Omega Chapter become lifelong friends in the bonds of sisterly love having fun with each other as we serve the community together. As you peruse our website, you will see some of the exciting activities we have done and are planning.
Chartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan in 1948, Delta Psi Omega Chapter has been committed to leadership in improving the quality of life in the local as well as the global community through mentorship, advocacy, and initiatives. As a testament to this commitment, we award scholarships annually to young women who demonstrate high scholastic standards and provide various kinds of support to help students in elementary and high school achieve success. Additionally, we educate citizens about political candidates, social justice issues, health, poverty, and human rights. This is what we are all about – service to all mankind.
Website Overview: The Founders page lists the three groups of Founders which make up our 20 Pearls. Next, we display the Local History & Current Chapter Members & Officers, followed by the National Program Initiatives. The local implementations of these initiatives are displayed on the Events and Announcements and Calendar Pages. We invite you to browse our Photo Album and encourage you to contact us with any questions via our Contact Us Page.
